Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our friendly office personnel will be waiting for you with a placard. Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, welcomes you with its rich history, art, and culture. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. You may explore local shopping areas, visit casinos, or immerse yourself in Nepali folk dance.

Dinner

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s iconic landmarks. Begin with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Witness the rituals and cremation ceremonies along the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism, and marvel at its serene ambiance. Explore the historical Patan Durbar Square, adorned with ancient palaces and temples. Conclude the day with a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for a scenic flight to Pokhara, a charming lakeside city nestled amidst the Himalayas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the revered Bindhyabasini Temple and explore the natural wonders of Devi’s Fall and Gupteshwor Cave. Spend the evening at your leisure, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of Pokhara.

Catch a short flight to Jomsom, a picturesque village known for its serene mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, proceed to your basic lodge accommodation. Embark on a journey to Muktinath Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Experience the spiritual ambiance and take a dip in the 108 holy taps. Return to Jomsom in the evening and unwind at your lodge.

What is the best time to visit Nepal?

The currency used in Nepal is the Nepalese Rupee (NPR). While credit cards are accepted in larger establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and shops in major cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara, it's advisable to carry cash, especially in rural areas where card acceptance may be limited.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS TRAVELLING TO JOMSOM # ACAP permit is required to visit Jomsom for which the cost is Inr. 1000 per person. Clients will be required to go to the ACAP office, fill up a form, submit a photograph and copy of the identification to get the permit. This can be done either in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Since the ACAP office is a government office, it is closed on Saturdays which is a weekend for Nepal & during public holidays. # There are no luxurious properties in Jomsom. The hotels are basic lodges with neat and clean rooms and basic facilities. The clients must be aware of this and not to expect any kind of luxury at this place. # Travel tips 1.    On the flight one is entitled to carry only 10 kgs of checked in luggage per person. 2.    Take precaution for altitude sickness by taking Diamox Tablet 3.    Carry your medicine for any health problem 4.    Drink plenty of water while going up hill 5.    Sports shoes or trekking shoes 6.    Carry light luggage 7.    Walking stick 8.    Jacket 9.    Chap stick / Vaseline cream 10.  Cap 11.  Sunglasses 12.  Warm Clothing 13.  Sunscreen Lotion 14.  Moisturizer Lotion 15.  Thick socks and gloves Please note: i) The vehicle will not be on disposal and will be provided as per the program only. ii) Drivers in Nepal are not educated. They speak/understand a very basic Hindi and English. They cannot do the job of a guide and will have to stay in the parking area along with the vehicle. The clients will have to buy the entrance fee on their own during the sightseeing. iii) Rates valid for Indian Passport holders only. OCI and PIO card is not valid in Nepal and cannot be used as an identification. iv) Hotel: Standard Check in Time: 2 PM and Standard Check Out time : 11 AM v) Room Category: Base category which are called the Standard rooms or Deluxe rooms depending on hotel to hotel. vi) For passengers aged 18 and above, a valid Indian passport or election ID is required for air travel to Kathmandu. Passengers under 18 can use a school or college ID with a clear photo, school details, date of birth, and class. Infants and toddlers not attending school need a birth certificate along with a photo ID like an Aadhar card for specific airlines. Please check with Indian immigration at your end as well. vii) Inr. 200, 500 and 2000 notes are illegal and not acceptable in Nepal. Clients should carry Inr. 100 notes only. The maximum limit amount that a person can carry is Inr. 25000 which should be in the denomination of Inr. 100. viii) Double Dose Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory. ix) Hand-phone SIM card: Upon arrival in Kathmandu at the international airport, also known as "Tribhuwan International Airport". There are two telephone companies called "NCell & NTC (Nepal Telecommunication)" after you have collected your luggage. Each of them has a Stall. There will be a requirement for one passport-sized photo and a copy of the passport. A Sim can be purchased. On average, activation takes 10 minutes.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Customers are required to make full payment in advance for confirmed bookings. In the event that a confirmed booking needs to be canceled, the following refund policies apply: 1. Cancellation made prior to 30 days of the confirmed date: 50% of the total amount will be refunded. 2. Cancellation made prior to 25 days of the confirmed date: 40% of the total amount will be refunded. 3. Cancellation made prior to 20 days of the confirmed date: 30% of the total amount will be refunded. 4. Cancellation made prior to 15 days of the confirmed date: 20% of the total amount will be refunded. 5. Cancellation made prior to 10 days of the confirmed date: 10% of the total amount will be refunded. Please note that after the specified time frame, The Peak Vibes will not entertain any cancellations, and no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
